The Swiss group Zühlke Engineering, which specialises in strategy, innovation and the development of digital solutions, has announced its intention to set up in Tunisia. At a meeting with the Director General of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA Tunisia), Jalel Tebib, the Group’s Projects and Investments Manager, Predrag Poposki, confirmed this decision. Zühlke Engineering plans to initially recruit around thirty Tunisian engineers with specialist skills, with the aim of doubling this number in the medium term. The decision to locate in Tunisia was motivated by a number of factors, including the availability of engineering talent, strategic positioning, geographical proximity and the country’s cultural diversity. Jalel Tebib hailed Zühlke Engineering’s choice of Tunisia and stressed the advantages of the country’s business climate and regulatory framework for foreign investment.
