FILATURE DE LIN

MARZOTTO

Founded in 1836, MARZOTTO is a group headquartered in Valdagno (Italy) manufacturing wool and cotton yarns for clothing and household textiles. Through equity investments, the group has developed the production of silk and linen yarns for knitwear.

Currently MARZOTTO is considered as the first group worldwide in its specialty.

In 1991, the Tunisian subsidiary, Filature de Lin, was created in Naassen in the governorate of Ben Arous. It specializes in the production of 100% linen yarn, which is unique in the sector in Africa. The subsidy has a staff of about 600 employees.

Equipped with modern technology, a know-how transmitted by the parent company Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale and providing continuous staff training, Filature de Lin is international in scope and now supplies both European and Asian markets thanks to its capacity (6200 kg per day) and its range of production that involves both the yarn 100% in bleached white linen and the diverse thread count.
