KEMA CHAUSSURE - MARKURY - CHAMA II

RIEKER

Founded in 1874, RIEKER is among the world leaders in manufacturing of shoes and accessories, more particularly anti-stress shoes.

Renowned for quality work and with its significant reputation in Europe, the company now operates worldwide through 5 production sites, three design offices and 15 distribution companies. It has a workforce of 15,000 employees.

After opening the first Tunisian production plant (Nadhour) with a workforce beyond 1,500 people and with production intended for export to the European Union, the RIEKER group decided in 2009 to develop its activities in Tunisia by creating a second subsidiary in Kairouan. The latter employs more than 4,000 people working in a factory extending over 75 hectares. They both manufacture anti-stress and safety footwear.
